Shamika H. Girkar is a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian and Bariatric Nutritionist with a strong academic background and practical experience. Her academic journey commenced with a graduation in Foods Nutrition and Dietetics from Nirmala Niketan College of Home Science in Mumbai, which laid the foundation for her passion in this field. She furthered her education by earning a Master’s degree from SVT College in Specialized Nutrition and Dietetics, specializing in Diabetes and Cardiac nutrition.

Shamika’s practical experience was enriched during a year-long internship at KEM Hospital, where she honed her skills and gained valuable insights into clinical nutrition. Concurrently, she completed courses in Diabetes Education and Ketogenic Therapy, focusing on weight loss, type 2 diabetes, cancer, epilepsy, and autism spectrum disorder.
